|Life Sciences Librarian - Ohio State University|
The Life Sciences Librarian will serve as the subject liaison to the College of Pharmacy and the College of Arts and Sciences’ biological sciences programs, and will establish a programmatic approach to building partnerships with and delivering the Libraries' resources and services to a wide variety of students, faculty, and staff in OSU’s academic community. The Librarian will build a wide-ranging support agenda for research, teaching and learning. Collaboration and engagement will extend beyond the pharmacy and biological sciences programs to include various life sciences, technology, and interdisciplinary communities and units, programs, and centers across the university.
The Librarian will work with the Collections Strategist to monitor collections in their subject areas, and will work with Biological Sciences/Pharmacy Library staff and the Circulation Coordinator to ensure that library space and collections are optimized for teaching and research. This position reports to the Head of the Sciences Cohort and, as part of the cohort, will work with colleagues to identify emerging constituent needs and develop and implement a contemporary approach to liaison librarianship.

This is a full-time, permanent, 12-month appointment. For appointment as a tenure-track faculty member, the candidate will be required to meet university and Libraries requirements for promotion and tenure. Salary, position type, and faculty rank are dependent on qualifications and experience.
